In this article, we\u2019ll take a look at how you can sync your schedules on different versions of Outlook.<\/p>\n<h3>Outlook on the web<\/h3>\n<p>If you have Microsoft 365 or another email service based on Microsoft Exchange Online, follow these steps to share your calendar:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the Calendar by clicking on the calendar icon at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Once you\u2019re in Calendar, go to the toolbar at the top of the page. Click on <em>Share<\/em> and choose which calendar you want to share. Keep in mind that you can only share calendars you own and not other people\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Indicate whom you want to share your calendar with by entering their email address or name.<\/li>\n<li>Select which activities recipients are permitted to perform on your calendar. You can choose from the following:\n<ul>\n<li><em>Can view when I\u2019m busy<\/em> \u2060\u2013 if you want the calendar to show when you\u2019re busy but hide certain details<\/li>\n<li><em>Can view titles and locations<\/em> \u2060\u2013 if you want the calendar to indicate when you\u2019re busy, as well as key details like an event\u2019s title or location<\/li>\n<li><em>Can view all details<\/em> \u2060\u2013 if you want the calendar to reveal all details about an event<\/li>\n<li><em>Can edit<\/em> \u2060\u2013 if you want recipients to be able to modify your calendar<\/li>\n<li><em>Delegate<\/em> \u2060\u2013 if you want recipients to be able to alter your calendar and share it with other users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To proceed, click on <em>Share<\/em>. If you change your mind, click on the Trash icon to cancel sharing your calendar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Alternatively, you can publish your calendar and share it with others using a URL. Here\u2019s how you do it:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In Calendar, go to <em>Settings<\/em> and click <em>View all Outlook settings<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <em>Shared calendars<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <em>Publish a calendar<\/em> and choose which calendar you want to publish and how much information is revealed to recipients.<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Publish<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>You will be given the choice between using an HTML or an ICS link. The HTML link can be used to view your calendar using a browser like Firefox or Google Chrome. An ICS link allows recipients to import your calendar and view it on their own Outlook calendar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Outlook.com<\/h3>\n<p>Like Outlook on the web, Outlook.com allows you to share your calendar directly or publish it. The steps for sharing are exactly like those used in Outlook on the web, too, except you only have two options for how recipients can use your calendar. These are \u201c<em>Can view all details<\/em>\u201d and \u201c<em>Can edit.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Publishing your calendar on Outlook.com requires you to::<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the calendar icon to open the Calendar view.<\/li>\n<li>In Calendar, go to Settings and click <em>View all Outlook settings<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <em>Calendar<\/em> and select <em>Shared calendars<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>In \u201cPublish a calendar,\u201d select which calendar you\u2019re publishing and how much information it contains.<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Publish<\/em> and choose to use either an HTML or ICS link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Outlook on iOS and Android<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re using a mobile version of Outlook, these are the steps for sharing your calendar:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On your Outlook app, click the hamburger button at the top-left corner and select <em>Calendar<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <em>Share<\/em> and tap on <em>Add People<\/em> to indicate your calendar\u2019s recipients.<\/li>\n<li>Input each recipient\u2019s name or email address. Once you\u2019re done, tap on the Check button at the top-right corner of the page.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of recipients. Tap on a name to edit their permissions and how much information they\u2019re allowed to see. As with Outlook on the web, available options are \u201c<em>Can View<\/em>,\u201d \u201c<em>Can Edit<\/em>,\u201d \u201c<em>Delegate<\/em>,\u201d \u201c<em>Only When I\u2019m Busy<\/em>,\u201d \u201c<em>Only Titles and Locations<\/em>,\u201d and \u201c<em>All Details<\/em>.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>To remove a user from your recipients, tap on Remove at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<li>After you\u2019ve set permissions, tap on the Check button at the top-right corner of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Outlook calendar is an excellent feature for managing your team\u2019s events and workflows and can help boost your efficiency and productivity.
