If these cords are wrapped tightly, twisted or pinched over an extended period of time, they may overheat and cause a fire. There have been dozens of documented reports of the cables catching fire due to overheating.<\/p>\n<p>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/surface\/en-us\/support\/warranty-service-and-recovery\/powercord\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a> to get more information on the Microsoft website.
